We receive such question once in a while: "Why did my nose get flat after I got my hump/deviated nose corrected?"

The answer to this question is because the nose was not tightened and supported enough after the surgery. There would not be any problem if it is tightned after the surgery but most of these cases are related with the use of plaster cast. Plaster casts are attached when the nose is swollen but it can't support the nose later. However there are surgeons who still use plaster casts.If they try to tighten your nose with a white plaster cast tell them: "I don't like plaster casts!"

이런 질문 가끔 듣습니다. 휘어진코나 매부리는 잡혔는데 코가 펑퍼짐 해진 경우입니다.

이유는 코뼈수술 후에 잘 조여주지 않았기 때문입니다.
잘 조여준다면 문제가 없는데 이런 경우는 대개 석고를 이용한 경우 많이 볼 수 있습니다. 석고는 부어있을 때 달라붙어 있다가 부기가 가라앉으면 조여주지를 못합니다. 그런데 아직도 석고를 쓰는 선생님들이 계십니다.^^
만약 수술 후에 하얀 석고붕대로 자기코를 조이고 있다면 말씀을 드리십시요.  "난! 석고가 싫어요"라고^^
