An ideal columella is when it is a bit longer than both alar bases. It is best when it forms a gull wing shape with 2.1 degree angle between the columella and both alar bases. In this picture septal cartilage is being used to lengthen the columella.

코기둥은 양쪽 콧망울보다 약간 내려와 있어야 정상의 모습니다. 이 모습은 갈매기의 몸체와 날개모양(gull wing)이 되는 것이 좋은데 코기둥과 양쪽 콧망울이 이루는 각은 2.1도가 가장 적당하다.
