There are many types of deviated noses. In most of the cases only the cartilage part is deviated. If it's deviated from the top to halfway down it means that only the cartilage part is deviated. In such case osteotomies is not necessary. However in most cases bone fracture is required even though the cartilage is the only deviated part.
