If there is an infection after rhinoplasty it needs to be treated immediately. Infection is the most serious complication. However some people just ignore it because they simply feel reluctant or they don't want to admit their faults without knowing actually who's fault it is.
After an operation using an implant; if the infection goes on for 5 days even with disinfectants it definately needs to be removed. Michael Jackson's nose is not messed up because he can't afford a treatment it's because he didn't get a treatment when it was necessary. Infection can be treated easily if one copes with the situation at the right time.If the infection occurs after the operation and does not get better then it needs to be removed. If the silicone or gore-tex is removed within 5 days since the infection then it won't cause much trouble and the nose will come back to its original position.
