가슴연골의 단점은 자체로는 휨의 발생이 있을 수 있고 가슴에 흉이 남을 수 있고 가슴연골 채취에 따른 부작용의 발생 가능성이 있다.
필자의 경우 가슴연골 채취의 많은 경험으로 약 20분정도면 가슴연골의 채취가 가능하다.
