We have this question quite often.
Hump nose can be corrected by removing the projected nasal bone and caritilage. And then it can be augmented or the deviation can be corrected.
Once you reach 17 to 18 your nose does not grow any more.
Some surgeons just grind the nose or try to cover the hump with grooved silicone implant.
In this way the nose may look straight right after the surgery but when the swellness is settled you can see the hump is still there. For this case surgeons say the nasal bone can grow a bit.
The reason for this kind of operation method is simple. Because it's easy.
As I always emphasize surgery should be performed in principle. Hump should be removed completely and nasal bone doesn't grow back.
