Permacol is made from dermis which is derived from pigs. I don't even use alloderm much even though it's a graft derived from humans because it doesn't guarantee complete safety (AIDSHepatitis..). Therefore I never thought of using permacol. There is human skin thus I don't see why someone would want to use a pig's skin instead. The price is almost as same as Alloderm's. Well all the companies show off that their product does not get absorbed.
