It is incised through the preexisting scar and if the scar is too large then it is sutured after resection. Scar remains if it is not sutured well enough with care during primary operation.
It could be said that only half of the surgery was successful even if the result was decent but the scar remains. I don't remember scar being a problem in our clinic.
Glabella is an anatomical term which means "between the eyes."
