We often inject steroid when the swelling does not go down for a long time. The results are achieved promptly sometimes. We inject steriod to control the swollen area since the skin is stretched and is healed with the tissue fluid filling up the space when carryikng out reduction rhinoplasty.

가끔 steroid를 주사한다. Swelling이 오랜기간 빠지지않을 때 사용한다. 가끔 극적인 효과를 얻기도 한다. 큰 코를 줄일 때에 피부가 늘어난 상태로 있다가 Tissue fluid 등이 차있는 상태로 healing 되면 부운상태로 있게 되는데 그런 경우는 스테로이드의 사용에 의한 부기의 조정이 효과적이다.
