Costal cartilage also has an unwanted complication which is warping. The possibility of that is 3%.
Pneumothorax can occur as a side effect when harvesting the rib cartilage but chances of that is lower than getting hit by lightning.
Also it's not fatal; it's curable.
When harvesting rib cartilage the chest is not opened but part of the chest wall is harvested.

가슴연골도 warping이라는 원하는 않는 부작용이 있다. 그 빈도는 3%정도이다.
가슴연골을 뗄떼는 Pneumothorax라는 부작용이 생길 수 있지만
발생빈도는 벼락에 맞는것만큼 낮다. 그것도 치명적인 것은 아니고 처치가 가능하다.
가슴연골을 뗴는 것은 가슴을 여는 것이 아니고 Chest wall을 이루고 있는 벽을 일부 떼는 것이다.
