95% of post operative inflammation caused by silicone or Gore tex doesn't really cure. Once inflammation was detected the implant should be removed immediately.
In the picture you can see the ingranulama(see the arrow) caused by months of inflammation. If inflammation is continued for a long tim deformation or contraction can happen.
