The skin turned red after the insertion of silicone because the silicone was pushed to the tip. If the skin gets thin and can't resist then changes in skin occur. The best treatment for this case is to remove the silicone. Autologus cartilage should be used for the nasal tip; silicone nor gore-tex is appropriate.
