A doctor in Newyork claims that he has patented two new materials for reconstruction rhinoplasty. Is he trustworthy dr. Jung? I cite his own words here and leave the links to his site:
"In the past several other types of substances have been used including the body's own cartilage, bone and tissue. These natural implants have a tendency to get broken down by the body and re-absorbed. Titanium, on the other hand, maintains its strength, is permanent, and is extremely light and thin. The other natural materials can be heavier, bulky, and difficult to manipulate."
