Hello dr. Jung. I have two question. Is not ear cartilage to soft for augmenting caudal septum? Is ear cartilage enough, if we want to augment all the angles of caudal septum about 13 mm (posterior septal angle, middle septal angle, anterior septal angle) and lower lateral cartilages,
Unfortunately, we can not harvest own cartilage from caudal septum, as we do not want to reduce caudal septum, but augment it it. We do not want to harvest from own rib cartilage either. Donated rib cartilage will resorb totally after 15 years, so we should not use that either. Alloplastics are not good for the tip. So do we have more options besides those mentioned, if ear cartilage is not enough?
