would you put a piece of cartilage or gore-tex in my columnella?

also for pre-max surgery is it normal for the pre-maxillary implant on one side of the face to be slightly raised than the other side? because my friend had got a pre-maxillary implant put in his face and one side of his face looks bigger than the other side and when you touch it it is hard....so i dont think it is the swelling because you can feel the implant?
